Body of man found in unexplained circumstances in Dublin

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the discovery of a body in north Dublin on Wednesday.

This afternoon, Gardaí attended a residence in Balbriggan, where the body of a man in his 60s was discovered.


Gardaí said the body was discovered in unexplained circumstances.

The scene at the residence in Balbriggan has been preserved so that a technical examination can be carried out by the Garda Technical Bureau.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
