The Dáil’s Ceann Comhairle has tested positive for Covid-19

The Dáil’s Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl has tested positive for Covid-19.

Ó Fearghaíl received a positive result from a PCR test at the weekend.


He will continue to isolate at home until next Monday, November 29th, in accordance with public health guidelines.

He will continue to work from home during this time.

Ó Fearghaíl’s chamber duties will now be overseen by Leas-Cheann Comhairle, Catherine Connolly, a statement from the Oireachtas said.
