Two women and two children die following house fire

Investigations are currently underway after two women and two children died following a house fire in London, UK.

The incident occurred in Bexleyheath in south-east London at approximately 8:30pm yesterday.


According to London Fire Brigade (LFB), six fire engines and 40 firefighters were called to the blaze yesterday evening.

Fire crews managed to rescue two women and children from the first floor of the building using a nine-metre ladder.

All four were pronounced dead at the scene, according to LFB.


A man who left the building before emergency services arrived at the scene has been taken to hospital while the cause of the fire is being investigated.
