Garth Brooks announces two Croke Park concerts for next year

Country star Garth Brooks has announced two Croke Park concerts that will take place on the 9th and 10th of September next year.

Tickets will be going on sale for the two shows next Thursday.

According to Aiken Promotions, the Croke Park shows will be the only European gigs played by the singer next year.

Back in July, Croke Park lodged a planning compliance submission with a proposal to hold concert events on the 9th, 10th and 11th of September.

However, earlier this month, Dublin City Council granted two additional dates for the gigs next year.

Although two concerts have been officially announced today, Dublin City Council could allow up to five concerts to take place. Tickets will go on sale at 8am next Thursday.
