It’s understood that Ali, who was pronounced dead at the scene, tried to challenge his attacker, according to witnesses.

Ali was described as a hero for putting his life first to save Ms. Walsh, who had been returning from her friend’s house when she was stabbed in the back by Henry.

One tribute read, “RIP. You put your life first to save another.”

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to honour Ali, which read, “We lost a dear brother, the most caring, humble, funniest young man. (I) don’t have a single memory of him without seeing his amazing smile.”

Norris Henry will be appearing before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, charged with murder and attempted murder.
