Investigation launched after man sustains head injury outside Kerry hospital

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 60s sustained head injuries during assault outside Kerry hospital.

At approximately 7pm last Sunday (November 7th) a man in his 60s sustained a head injury during the course of an incident outside University Hospital Kerry with hospital personnel.


The man sustained the head injury following an incident with hospital personnel.

The man was treated at University Hospital Kerry, but was moved to Cork University Hospital, where his condition is understood to be serious.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses, particularly those who were near the entrance to A&E at University Hospital Kerry between 5pm and 8pm on Sunday, November 7th.


Anyone who may have camera footage, including dash cam footage is being urged to contact Gardaí.
