Elderly couple found dead in unexplained circumstances in Kerry

An elderly couple have been found dead in unexplained circumstances in a house outside Kenmare in Kerry.

Gardaí were contacted to the scene during the afternoon.


The house in Dromneavane has since been cordoned off pending investigation.

The State Pathologist’s Office has also been notified.

An investigation remains ongoing as there deaths are being treated as unexplained.


A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Monday, November 15th.
