Five Garth Brooks gigs approved for Croke Park next year

Country singer Garth Brooks has been granted an additional two concert dates for Croke Park next year which will bring the total number of gigs to five.

Initially, Dublin city council granted approval for concerts on the 9th, 10th and 11th of September next year but has now granted an application for two more concerts on the 16th and 17th of September.

Croke Park will be significantly exceeding its limit as Ed Sheeran will be playing two gigs at the GAA stadium next year as well.

This means that a total of seven concerts will be played next year at Croke Park, which is typically limited to three concerts per year.

Brooks was originally supposed to play five gigs at Croke Park back in 2014 but was only granted permission to play three and as a result, he cancelled all five, leaving hundreds of thousands of Irish fans crushed.

However, if you’re a fan of the country singer then it seems that your luck is beginning to change.
