Investigation underway after woman’s body discovered in Dublin apartment

An investigation has been launched by gardaí after a woman’s body was discovered at an apartment in Dublin.

The discovery was made this morning at an apartment in the Charlestown area of Finglas.


It’s understood that the woman appeared to have serious injuries with Gardaí suspecting that she may have died violently.

The woman’s body remains at the scene which has been which is being preserved as a crime scene.

The State Pathologist Office has been informed and the Garda Technical Bureau is due to carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
