Donald Trump Jr. has begun selling T-shirts that mockingly depict the recent fatal shooting that occurred during an Alec Baldwin film set.
The son of former US President Donald Trump began posting on Instagram some of the merch that was available with one of them being a T-shirt that reads, “Guns don’t kill people, Alec Baldwin kills people”.
In another post, he shared a photoshopped image of the actor wearing the same T-shirt.
Yesterday, he shared a meme that read, “Let’s all watch Alec Baldwin blame the gun” with the caption, “It’s only a matter of time.”
The posts were in relation to an incident that occurred during the filming of ‘Rust’ where Alec Baldwin was handed a loaded weapon under the impression that it was a prop gun.
This resulted in the inadvertent fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Director Joel Souza was also shot but received non-life-threatening injuries.
Two days after the incident, Trump Jr. shared a meme with a photo of Baldwin which read, “That look when an anti-gun nut kills more people with a gun than your extensive firearm collection ever has…”
It’s believed that this series of events is in response to Baldwin’s impressions of the former US President on Saturday Night Live which is understood to have angered Donald Trump Sr.
