Emergency services battling high-rise building fire in Tallaght

Emergency services are battling a fire at a high-rise building in Tallaght, Dublin.

Dublin Fire Brigade posted on Twitter, saying eight of their units are currently battling the fire, which occurred at a business premises in Belgard Square.


Three ambulances are also at the scene, along with accompanying Gardaí.

Gardaí were alerted to the incident at approximately 4:20pm.

A cordon has been put in place and traffic diversions are currently in operation.


Dublin Fire Brigade are urging people to keep clear of the area to allow emergency service vehicles to gain access.
