Chris Martin announces when Coldplay will stop recording new music

Coldplay fans around the world have probably just entered the grieving process after the band’s lead singer Chris Martin announced when the band will put a halt to recording new music.

With the band set to release their ninth album ‘Music Of The Spheres’ this Friday, the legendary frontman has announced that he thinks the band’s 12th album will be the grand finale.

Martin spoke on Absolute Radio, where he stated that the band would not carry on releasing new albums indefinitely.

“I think that in a few albums’ time we will finish making albums,”.

Although assuring that the band will most likely want to play live with each other, Martin said, “This is not a joke, this is true, I think after 12 that will be the end of our catalogue,”.

Martin compared the band’s future touring experience to that of The Rolling Stones, saying that “it will be so cool if we can still be touring in our late 70s.”

So although fans may have just got a rush of blood to the head, don’t panic because there are sparks of daylight ahead, so stop looking at the clocks, enjoy the amazing day and have the adventure of a lifetime but most importantly, Viva la Vida.
