COVID-19: 1,384 new cases confirmed in Ireland, with 382 hospitalisations

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 1,384 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

As of 8am this morning, there are currently 382 people with Covid-19 being treated in hospitals.

Of the 382 hospitalisations, 74 are being treated in ICU.

This is quite a significant reduction from yesterday, where there were 1,940 new cases confirmed, however, there was 352 hospitalisations reported with 74 in ICU.

As of Thursday, there has been a total of 5,280 Covid-19 deaths reported in the State.
