COVID-19: 1,940 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 1,940 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Deaths are being announced weekly due to the HSE data breach in May – as of last Wednesday, 5,280 people have died with Covid-19 in Ireland.

The Department further confirmed that there are currently 352 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 74 in ICU.

Yesterday, there were 354 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 73 in ICU.
