HSE outlines Saturday hours for walk-in vaccination centres

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has outlined Saturday opening hours for over 20 walk-in vaccination centres across the country.

People who attend these centres are able to receive a vaccination without an appointment.

However, they are limited to people aged 12 years old and older while children aged 12-15 must attend the centre in the presence of a parent or guardian.

Most centres will be offering the first and second dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

If an individual’s first dose was the AstraZeneca vaccine and does not want their second dose to be from AstraZeneca, they can choose to receive an mRNA vaccine instead.
