From tomorrow, Ireland will experience a further easing of Covid-19 restrictions, which is a glimmer of hope as we draw closer to October 22nd when the majority of restrictions will be eased.
To begin, there will be a phased and staggered return to the workplace which the government stated would be for “specific business requirements”.
As part of the government’s plan ‘Reframing the Challenge, Continuing Our Recovery and Reconnecting’, employers are recommended to develop or finalise their long-term blended working and return to work policy.
Indoor group activities, be it sports, art, culture and dance classes can return from tomorrow at a maximum capacity of 100 people.
This will only be permitted once appropriate measures are in place, meaning all patrons are either fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid-19 in the last six months.
Accompanied minors who are not vaccinated will be permitted at these events.
In situations where there is mixed immunity status, pods of up to six participants will be permitted, excluding teachers and adult leaders.
The number of pods will differ from venue to venue depending on size and social distancing.
All restrictions for outdoor activities will be removed, however, spectator attendance may be affected.
