Copper Face Jacks sets reopening date after being closed for 18 months

Copper Face Jacks has confirmed that the infamous Dublin nightclub will reopen its doors on Friday, October 22nd.

The popular venue, which is located on Harcourt Street, took to social media to confirm the news after being closed for a year and a half.

Check out the post below:

Minister for Culture Catherine Martin said earlier this week that there could be room for Irish pubs and nightclubs to be permitted to open their doors until 6am under new licensing laws.

When asked if she would like to see drinking and dancing being permitted in Irish venues until 6am, Martin replied: “Yes, why not, I think that opportunity should be there.”

“I think shutting down, Dublin, we’re working way behind our other European cities.”

“It can be done, it can be done in a safe way and I think that option definitely should be there.”
