NPHET gives green light for further easing of restrictions from Monday

The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has agreed that the Government can continue in the further reopening on Monday, 20th September.

NPHET recommended to continue with the easing of restrictions due to the improving epidemiological situation in Ireland at the current time.

From next Monday, there will be a phased return to offices, and restrictions on outdoor and indoor group activities will also see their capacity increase.

Organised indoor group activities will be allowed to occur with capacity limits of 100 people, where all attendees are vaccinated.

Restrictions on outdoor group activities for participants will also be removed.

Holohan further confirmed yesterday that Ireland remains on track to ease the majority of restrictions on October 22nd.
