WATCH: Final trailer for The Many Saints of Newark has dropped

It’s just one week until the highly anticipated ‘The Many Saints of Newark’ will be released in cinemas.

The upcoming American crime drama is a prequel to the massively successful HBO series ‘The Sopranos’.


The movie is set in the 1960s and 1970s in Newark, New Jersey, using the 1967 riots in the city as a backdrop for tensions between the Italian-American and African-American communities.

The movie follows the teenage years of Tony Soprano in the midst of a violent gang war that his family are involved in.

The Many Saints of Newark will be released in Irish cinemas next Wednesday, September 22nd.
