Entire Police Department resigns in the U.S

An entire Police Department in Missouri, U.S resigned, leaving the city of Kimberling without immediate authority.

Citing problems such as inadequate pay and not having the necessary tools for he job, the Department is struggling to find replacements.

“It will be a struggle to fill the police department back up with qualified officers, but hopefully they can start working on that soon and get that accomplished,” Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader said.

The Police Department is calling for better changes from the town’s Mayor.

Mayor Bob Fritz said: “The resignations were unexpected and the short notice disappointing.”

“We’re looking for officers, we’re looking for a new police chief and I think we’ll be fine.”

There has been a wave of resignations in Police Departments across the U.S over the past year.
