WATCH: Ian Bailey to take part in in-depth interview on Irish TV next week

Virgin Media Television Ireland has announced it will air an in-depth interview with Ian Bailey next week.

The interview will involve Bailey discussing his involvement in the investigation into the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.

The horrific killing occurred in the town of Schull in West Cork in 1996, which later triggered one of the biggest Irish murder investigation ever.

In 2019, a French Court convicted Ian Bailey of Toscan du Plantier’s murder but he was not present for the trial after winning a legal battle against extradition.

Bailey has never been charged with the murder in Ireland and has always maintained his innocence.

‘Ian Bailey: The Big Interview’ will go live on Virgin Media One on Monday at 9:00pm.
