Man in his 30s stabbed in the head in Belfast

The Police Service of Northern Ireland is appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the head in west Belfast on Saturday morning.

At approximately 10:50am, PSNI received reports that a man in his 30s was stabbed in the head in the Aspen Walk area of Dunmurry.


Inspector McBride confirmed that the man had been taken to hospital for treatment for the sustained injuries.

McBride went on to say that a man has since been arrested and is helping Police with enquiries.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 600 04/09/21,” the inspector said.


No further information has been released at this time.
