Krispy Kreme to open second Irish store in Swords

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is to open its second Irish store in Swords, Co Dublin.

The store will be located in the Pavillions shopping centre in the former KFC unit beside Pennys and Elverys Sports.

The first Irish Krispy Kreme store was opened in the year 2018 and was located in the Dublin suburb of Blanchardstown.

Krispy Kreme is one of the latest openings in the Pavillions shopping centre, which has over 100 retail, dining and entertainment brands.

It joins The Gift Shed, fashion brand Catch and Golden Discs as recent openings in the shopping centre.

Head of Leasing (Ireland) at Hammerson, which is a joint owner of the shopping centre, Ciara Connolly stated that the decision to locate a household name such as Krispy Kreme in the shopping centre in the early stages of its Irish expansion was a real vote of confidence. The store is expected to open this winter.
