The European Union (EU) has removed five countries, including the United States, from it’s safe travel list.
On Monday, the EU Council updated the list of countries for which Covid-19 travel restrictions should be lifted.
The updated list includes:
Bosnia and Herzegovina
China (subject to confirmation of reciprocity)
Republic of Moldova
“Israel, Kosovo, Lebanon, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States of America were removed from the list,” the EU said.
The advice is not binding for member states, as they have the authority to choose to allow vaccinated citizens to enter their own territories.
