The Taoiseach has announced the new updated roadmap for the easing of the final Covid-19 restrictions in Ireland.
From September 6th (Monday), indoor venues can operate at 60% capacity for events for those who are vaccinated, while outdoor events can operate at 75% capacity for those who are vaccinated.
Outdoor sports events can have 50% capacity in stadiums.
Live music will also resume for bars and for weddings on Monday.
On September 20th, the phased return to offices will begin.
Indoor activities will also resume, including after-school activities.
The Government also wants to end the vast majority of restrictions by October 22nd.
However, the wearing of face coverings will continue in health, retail and on public transport settings.
The Taoiseach also noted that the final easing of restrictions will be contingent on the incidence of the virus being stable, and that 90% of the adult population are fully vaccinated.
