Teenager found dead in Meath died from a gunshot

A teenage man whose body was discovered in a house in Meath yesterday died from a gunshot, Gardaí have said.

At approximately 8:30am yesterday morning, the body of the teenager was discovered at a residence in Enfield.


Investigations into the man’s death are ongoing and a post-mortem is to be carried out.

Gardaí will give a media briefing later today on the incident.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Trim Road at Enfield between the hours of 8pm yesterday and 7am today to contact them.
