WATCH: Afghan man films himself clinging to plane as it takes off from Kabul airport

Footage has been released of an Afghan man clinging to an aircraft as it departs from Kabul airport.

It has been one of the many chaotic scenes at Kabul airport as Afghans desperately attempt to flee the country.

In one incident, many people clung to a US military plane as it took off from Kabul airport, leading to three people falling to their deaths.

The main footage that we have seen of this incident is predominantly from a distance but now there is available footage from the perspective of an individual onboard the aircraft.

It is currently unknown as to how long the man in the video managed to hold on to the aircraft for, while Journalist Bryan Passifium stated, “I’m sure most were blown off during the takeoff roll, and the rest fell when the landing gear doors closed.”

Many people have died in an attempt to flee Afghanistan, as earlier this week, human remains were discovered on a US military plane after it departed from Afghanistan.

It was reported by ABC News that the remains were found inside the wheel well of the aircraft.
