Bob Dylan has been sued by a woman who claims the singer sexually abused her 60 years ago.
The woman is alleging she was 12-years-old when the abuse took place.
The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday, alleges that Dylan abused the plaintiff over a six-week period from April to May 1965.
The lawsuit says that Dylan “exploited his status as a musician to provide J.C. with alcohol and drugs and sexually abuse her multiple times”.
The suit further accuses Dylan of physically threatening the girl at the time.
The alleged abuse took place at an apartment that Dylan owned in New York City.
A spokesperson for Dylan said the accusations are untrue and will be “vigorously defended”.
The accuser has claimed that Dylan caused her “severe psychological damage and emotional trauma”.
