Garda investigation launched after baby found alone in pram in Kerry cemetery

Gardaí are investigating an incident where a baby was discovered alone in a pram in a cemetery in Tralee.

Gardaí say the baby was left alone for several hours before the child was discovered.

A gathering had taken place earlier in the cemetery, which later dispersed, at which point it is believed the child was left behind.

The child is less than one-year-old and was eventually reunited with their family.

A Garda spokesman confirmed said officers attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí will speak with those who attended the gathering, along with the family members of the child.
