New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign following sexual harassment allegations

Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo is to resign following a wave of sexual harassment allegations against him.

A myriad of American political figures have called for Cuomo to step down, including top members in the Democratic Party.

President Joe Biden also called for the Governor to resign.

Cuomo told a live television broadcast that his resignation would take effect in 14 days.

An investigation into allegations against Cuomo found that he had sexually harassed multiple women, including employees.
