Following a deal with MTV Entertainment Studios, there will be 14 new South Park movies on the way.
The news was revealed on Thursday after creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a $900 million deal with MTV.
The deal will run through to 2027, which will include 14 new films made exclusively for Paramount+.
There will be two movies released annually starting this year so we don’t have to wait too long.
And just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, the series will be renewed up to season 30 with the 25th season expected to air in 2022.
President of MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy stated, “Matt and Trey are world-class creatives who brilliantly use their outrageous humor to skewer the absurdities of our culture and we are excited to expand and deepen our long relationship with them to help fuel Paramount+ and Comedy Central.”
He added, “Comedy Central has been our home for 25 years and we’re really happy that they’ve made a commitment to us for the next 75 years.”
