Thousands of people have gathered in Paris and other French cities to protest against France’s Covid-pass Bill.
The Covid-pass requires a vaccination or a negative test or proof of a recent recovery from Covid-19, which will be required in most places by August 9th.
The majority of demonstrations were peaceful, but some in Paris clashed with Police, who ultimately fired tear gas.
Roughly 3,000 security forces were deployed across Paris for a third weekend of protests against the Covid-pass.
Over 200,000 people are expected to have participated in the protests across France, with nearly 15,000 gathering in Paris.
Lines of Police Officer’s faced down protesters, as some protesters threw objects at the Officers.
Police Officers fired tear gas into crowds during the confrontations.
