YouTuber Jake Paul confirms he’s in talks to fight Conor McGregor

Confident that he will beat Tyron Woodley on the 29th of August, Jake Paul stated that Woodley will be a harder opponent than McGregor.

He said that McGregor has lost his fighter’s edge and motivation while adding that fame and money got to his head.

In regards to the possibility of the fight actually happening, the 24-year-old YouTuber told The Heard, “I think it will happen. Look, I mean, I’m the money fight for Conor McGregor right now.”

He stated that both teams are in touch with each other in relation to the fight while adding, “There is no other fighter right now who is on a bigger level than me that is calling out Conor McGregor and wants to fight Conor.”

This follows McGregors defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 where he suffered a broken leg during the fight. Jake Paul took to social media to mock McGregor’s loss with a custom-made chain.

However, it’s looking unlikely that McGregor will take up the offer judging by a tweet back in April when McGregor responded to calls for him to fight the YouTuber with, “UFC high level fighting > Blogger jacka** boxing.”
