Guidelines for reopening indoor hospitality limits six per table, with closing time of 11:30pm

The final guidelines for the reopening of indoor hospitality have been published.

The guidelines allow for a maximum of 6 people over the age of 13 permitted per table.


The limit of 6 does not include children under 13-years-old.

The overall capacity of a table, including children, cannot exceed 15 people.

Indoor hospitality in restaurants and pubs is to reopen from Monday for those who are fully vaccinated or who have recovered from Covid-19 within the past six months.


The EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) will be required per person upon entry, which will be scanned by the hospitality business.

Regulations see the closing time for businesses will be at 11:30pm.

However, there will no time limit for people dining.

Counter service is also prohibited in the guidelines, allowing for table service only.
