Sinn Féin narrowly ahead of Fine Gael as Ireland’s most popular party, according to latest opinion poll

Sinn Féin is narrowly ahead of Fine Gael as Ireland’s most popular political party, according to the latest Sunday Times Behaviour and Attitudes poll.

Sinn Féin are up to 34%, while Fine Gael scored 24%.


Meanwhile, Fianna Fáil is down to 20%, and The Green Party is down to 9% of the public support.

The Sunday Times Behaviour and Attitudes poll also reported that the Labour Party are down to 3%, the Social Democrats are at 4% and Aontú is at 1%.

People Before Profit also remain at 1%.


The poll was taken of 909 Irish adults between May 27th and June 8th.

According to the poll, Sinn Féin are currently the most popular political party in Ireland.
