COVID-19: 600 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 600 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No information surrounding deaths associated with the virus has been released due to the cyber attack on the HSE.


The Department has further confirmed that there are currently 64 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 16 in ICU.

Yesterday, there were 58 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 16 in intensive care units.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 528 cases of Covid-19 reported.


No further people diagnosed with the virus have died.
