Man arrested in connection with hit-and-run killing of young woman in Donegal

A man in his 40s has been arrested after a hit-and-run in Donegal last night.

A 34-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a white van on the N15 at approximately 2:45am.


She was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The man who was arrested presented himself to Gardaí at Letterkenny Garda Station earlier this afternoon.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or those with video footage to contact them with any information.
