COVID-19: 576 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 576 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No information surrounding deaths associated with the virus has been released due to the cyber attack on the HSE.

The Department further confirmed that there are currently 58 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 16 in ICU.

Yesterday, there were 52 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 16 in intensive care units.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 605 cases of Covid-19 reported.

One further person diagnosed with the virus has died.
