Eighty-six people now confirmed dead following Miami building collapse

Eighty-six people are now confirmed dead following an apartment building collapsed in Miami last month.

No survivors have been taken from the ruins in the past few weeks.

Forty-three people still remain missing.

Investigators have not yet been able to determine the cause of the apartment building collapse.

The disaster struck on June 24th, when an element of a large apartment block collapsed, leaving hundreds of lives in jeopardy.

It currently remains unclear as to when the searching will be finished, however, a fire chief said “we’re definitely making progress.”
