Police officer pleads guilty to the murder of Sarah Everard

English police officer Wayne Couzens has pleaded guilty to the murder of Sarah Everard.

The 48-year-old Police Officer pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey in London.


Couzens kidnapped 33-year-old Everard as she walked home from a friends house in South London on March 3rd of this year.

An urgent investigation was launched by Police in London to locate Everard.

Couzens was arrested on March 9th and Everard’s body was found the following day in a woodland stream.


The killing sparked an international response over violence against women.
