Three men dead after car collides with truck on N7

Investigations are ongoing following a collision in Dublin where three men were killed.

The collision, which involved a car and a truck, occurred on the N7 in Rathcoole last night at approximately 11:40pm.


The car was driving the wrong way down the northbound carriageway when it collided with the truck. The three men who died were the occupants of the car.

Following the incident, the truck driver was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries.

The incident has been referred to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission as the vehicle was involved in an interaction with gardaí prior to the collision.


Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or is in possession of dash cam footage of the collision, to contact Clondalkin Garda Station at 01 666 7600 or the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
