NPHET will not change their advice on reopening indoor hospitality – Taoiseach

Talks took place today between the hospitality sector and Government on the reopening of indoor hospitality.

The sector heavily criticised both Government and the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) on the change to the reopening restrictions.

Most notably, the requirement to have had a Covid-19 vaccine has caused unrest for those in the sector.

The Taoiseach said today that NPHET will not change their advice on the reopening of indoor hospitality.

He went on to say that Government and the hospitality sector will have to work within the advice issued by NPHET.
