COVID-19: Public health officials report 512 new cases of Covid-19

It has been confirmed by health officials that there have been 512 new Covid-19 cases of Covid-19 reported in Ireland.

According to the Department of Health, there are 46 patients in hospital today with Covid-19 while 14 people are being treated in Intensive Care Units.


The data regarding the number of Covid-related deaths as well as numbers by county has been affected as a result of the cyber attack on the HSE’s IT systems.

No information has been given in relation to how many deaths were caused by Covid-19.
