NPHET recommends indoor dining should only be available to those who are vaccinated

Cabinet will meet today to discuss the further reopening of society on July 5th.

Indoor hospitality was initially supposed to reopen next Monday. However, the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) are believed to have recommended against these plans.

It is currently understood that indoor dining will be delayed until at least July 19th.

NPHET are also understood to have recommended that only those who are vaccinated against Covid-19, or who have recovered from the virus, should be allowed to enter indoor hospitality settings.

Following last nights Cabinet Covid-19 committee meeting, Cabinet will meet today and finalise reopening plans.

An Taoiseach is likely to address the nation this evening with the plans.
