COVID-19: 305 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 305 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No information surrounding deaths associated with the virus has been released due to the cyber attack on the HSE.


The Department further confirmed that there are currently 49 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 16 of these in ICU.

Yesterday, there were 47 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 15 of these in intensive care units.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 211 cases of Covid-19 reported.


No further people diagnosed with the virus have died.
