Fine Gael narrowly ahead of Sinn Féin as Ireland’s most popular party according to latest opinion poll

Fine Gael is narrowly ahead of Sinn Féin as Ireland’s most popular political party, according to the most recent opinion poll.

According to the Business Post/Red C Poll, Fine Gael is now at 30%, putting Leo Varadkar’s party just ahead of Sinn Féin, which is currently on 29%.


The two party’s have been repeatedly in battle with one another in the polls over the past few months, with results varying over the year.

Fianna Fáil has been continuously lagging far behind the leading two parties.

Micheál Martin’s achieved just 13% of the populations trust.


The Green Party is also lagging behind, with just 4%.
