159 people still missing following Miami building collapse

159 people remain unaccounted for following an apartment building collapse in Florida.

At least four people have been confirmed dead this far.


Rescue operations have been taking place since the 12-storey building collapsed over 24-hours ago.

Police authorities are currently working with the medical examiners to identify the victims.

Officials do not know how many people were in the building during the time of the collapse, but they are attempting to locate 159 people who are unaccounted for.


Eleven injuries have been reported and four are currently being treated in hospital.

Miami officials are currently investigating the cause of the collapse, which currently remains unknown.
