COVID-19: 393 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 393 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No information surrounding deaths associated with the virus has been released due to the cyber attack on the HSE.

The Department reported that there are currently 48 people in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 14 of these in ICU.

Two days ago, there were 54 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 18 of these in intensive care units.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 158 cases of Covid-19 reported.

No further deaths associated with the virus have been reported.
