The restaurant staff were attacked with glass bottles and chairs as fights spilt out onto the streets outside the venue with video footage of the incident circulating on social media.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30pm last night where it’s understood that four young people were causing a disturbance and threw glass bottles at the restaurant workers according to a garda spokesman.
On restaurant worker was hospitalised at St James’s Hospital for injuries that he received following the incident, however, his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Two men in their early 20s along with a teenager were arrested following the incident. They are currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.
