Boris Johnson said Matt Hancock was ‘totally hopeless’ – Dominic Cummings

Former aide to the Prime Minister Dominic Cummings has said Boris Johnson said Health Secretary Matt Hancock was ‘f******* hopeless’.

Cummings left Downing Street following an internal collision with Boris Johnson.

Cummings published a screenshot which showed an exchange with the British Prime Minister.

The messages showed the former aide criticising Matt Hancock on Covid-19 testing earlier in the pandemic.

A contact, which is purporting to be Boris Johnson, replied, “Totally f****** hopeless”.

Boris Johnson has not responded to the allegations and did no respond to a query regarding the allegations during Leaders Questions.

A spokesperson for the British Prime Minister neither confirmed or denied whether Johnson sent the message.

However, the spokesperson said Boris Johnson has full confidence in Matt Hancock.
